Architecture and Engineering Services

Architecture and Engineering Services provides “Best-in-Class” planning, design, branding, and architecture of CVS Health enterprise locations, including retail stores, corporate, long-term care, and infusion facilities. This department combines technical knowledge, design expertise and management skills with business acumen to coordinate a variety of building disciplines, and in doing so, brings the buildings and environments to life for our customers.

Capital & Energy Administration

The Capital & Energy Management team is helping CVS Health change the face of health care by supporting the department’s enterprise-wide Construction and Facilities financial responsibilities along with assisting internal business brands with support related to capital budget development, quarterly forecasting and reporting. Additionally, the reporting team provides the R&M MyCustomer scorecard reporting and store closing and asset disposition support across enterprise operations. The Energy team supports energy related vendor-managed rollout initiatives for interior lighting, energy management systems (EMS), utility continuity support around power outages and other utility related needs for the organization. The Energy team supports enterprise-wide utility budgeting, reporting and payment processing along with green and sustainable programs in support of our annual greenhouse gas emissions reporting, energy-efficiency initiatives and energy procurement.

Corporate Property Administration

The Corporate Property Administration Department is helping CVS Health change the face of health care by managing enterprise support and solutions for operations, design and project administration across the breadth of CVS Health’s (400) non-retail properties. Operational support includes space planning, interior design, mail operations, dining services, maintenance support and repair coverage to over 9 million square feet of property across the country. The portfolio under management includes administrative offices, call centers, data centers, mail and specialty pharmacies, infusion and long term care branches. With a deep understanding of our business and customer needs we are able to proactively support enterprise growth initiatives and find creative and cost effective solutions to space and operational needs. Through our team of property and project management professionals backed by a team of licensed and skilled technicians, the CVS Health Property Administration Department provides round the clock support to keep our critical data centers and production facilities up and running 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Print Operations

Our enterprise Print Operations teams are helping CVS Health to change the face of health care by managing both retail and PBM internal print production. Enterprise Print Operations is responsible for all of the weekly retail shelf signs, monthly and seasonal retail shelf label signage, as well as, printing and distribution of store related internal communications such as regular and seasonal planograms, large ad signs, new item bulletins, corporate initiatives, and the weekly advertising circulars to all retail locations each week. Additionally, the teams provide various supply items for our corporate administration operations, such as note pads, posters, color copies, blueprints, flyers, pamphlets, labels, booklets, and presentation decks. We also support our retail stores through the Ad Hotline, assisting stores with any sign or advertising need. Internal print operations is also responsible for supporting PBM sales, strategic proposal management and PBM marketing. On-site print operations in key PBM hubs also play a supporting role in producing low volume/same-day delivery for member communications.

Property Management

The Property Management teams are a component of the organization that is responsible to ensure that the built environment represents the planning, branding, design and construction as envisioned by our Corporate Business Partners and Design experts. The team’s focus is on the implementation and execution in the field, throughout the Enterprise, for all project types.

Capital Project Planning

The Capital Project Planning team is responsible for managing the construction and non-construction programs across the CVS Health enterprise. The team’s efforts include serving as the central program management entity responsible for liaising with business sponsors to plan and define the scope and complexity of all small and wide-scale initiatives and to manage the candidate selection, comprehensive project scheduling and the production and distribution of reporting related to all project activity and financial results. From a merchandising perspective, the team coordinates the scheduling and execution of all Retail projects handled by both internal and third-party field-based crews.

Retail Facilities Management

The Retail Facilities Management Department is helping CVS Health change the face of health care by providing property management support for over 12,000 enterprise-wide properties including CVS Pharmacy retail stores, Omnicare operation centers, Minute Clinics, and specialty and Coram locations. Operational support includes vendor management of our network of national and regionalized vendors, oversight of 145 trades and the responsive resolve of over 1.2 million work orders annually. The Team also supports forecasting and budgeting for retail operating expenses. Through our team of facility management professionals who are both corporate and field based, the team utilizes licensed and skilled technicians and technology based tools to provide responsive facilities solutions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
